WebDec 15, 2024 · I think i figured it out. your steam overlay has to work to buy gold bars, If your "Graphics API" is set to "Direct X" it WILL NOT WORK. you have to make sure it is set to "Vulkan" for your steam to pop up after you hit "Purchase".
