Nettet29. aug. 2013 · I pulled the blades out and began the sharpening process only to find that the blades are ground to a +/- 39-degree angle and the sharpening jig is designed for a 45-degree angle. Question is, is it a good practice to grind a micro bevel on the jointer knives or should I trash these and order a set that are ground to 45 degrees to start with?
