I took your review course, in March and today I took the ANCC and successfully passed the first time!!! What a load has been lifted off my shoulders. I am scheduled to retake the AANP at the end of the month. WebANCC only requires you to retest if you don’t maintain 1000 hours of clinical practice within the 5 year period, along with 75 CEs. This is only about 4 hours per week of NP work or faculty clinical supervision - very doable. AANP has a similar policy - 1000 clinical practice hours in 5 years and 100 CEs, otherwise you also retest.
