WebJan 6, 2010 · I have a Clayton Mark water hydrant that seems to be stuck. When I lift up on the handle it doesn't pull the plunger up. It has a set screw on the side that has created a flat spot draging up the brass plunger. I thought that it might have froze to packing nut (?), so I took a torch to heat it up and try to thaw, but no luck.
